Tato bakalářská diplomová práce porovnává pozice a role žen pracujících v médiích před 17. listopadem 1989 s obdobím po něm. Cílem je určit, zda se situace žen s ohledem na změnu režimu změnila, případně popsat zjištěné rozdíly. Metodou výzkumu jsou kvalitativní polostrukturované rozhovory se čtyřmi ženami, které působily na různých pozicích. Výpovědi dlouholeté zaměstnankyně veřejnoprávní televize, bývalé disidentky, redaktorky tištěných periodik i ženy, která pracovala jak v tisku, tak ve veřejnoprávních i komerčních médiích, slouží ke komplexnímu náhledu na jejich postavení v obou obdobích.This bachelor thesis compares the positions and the roles of women working in the media before November 17th, 1989 with the period afterwards. The aim is to determine if the situation of women has changed with regards to the change of regime, and to describe the observed differences. The method of research is qualitative semi-structured interviews with four women, who worked in different positions. The testimonies of a long-time employee of public television, former dissident, editor of printed media and woman who worked in printed media as well as in public and commercial media give complex overview of their positions in both periods.
