Diplomová práce pojednává o trestných činech v silniční dopravě se speciálním zaměřením na pachatele tohoto typu trestné činnosti, způsoby jejich trestání a účel trestu v kontextu trestných činů v silniční dopravě. V úvodu práce je obsaženo vymezení základních pojmů pro ni podstatných a katalog jednotlivých trestných činů, jež je možné v silniční dopravě spáchat, společně s jejich specifickými problémy. Podrobněji se pak diplomová práce věnuje pachateli trestných činů v silniční dopravě a jeho možným odlišnostem od pachatelů jiné trestné činnosti. Stěžejní kapitola je věnována účelu a smyslu trestu, kterou doplňují jednotlivé tresty společně s jejich specifickými problémy v rámci kriminality v silniční dopravě a možná řešení de lege ferenda. Kapitolu věnovanou účelu a smyslu trestu v závěru práce doplňuje juristický rozbor, jenž je zároveň zaměřen na přiměřenost, resp. nepřiměřenost trestání.This thesis deals with road traffic crimes with a special focus on the perpetrators of this type of crime, ways of punishing them and the purpose of punishment in the context of road traffic crimes. The introduction of the thesis contains the definitions of the basic concepts and the catalog of individual crimes that can be committed in the road traffic, together with their specific problems. In more detail, the diploma thesis deals with the perpetrators of road traffic crimes and their possible differences from the perpetrators of other crimes. The core chapter is dedicated to the purpose and meaning of the punishment, which is complemented by individual punishments along with their specific problems in road traffic crimes and possible de lege ferenda solutions. The chapter devoted to the purpose and meaning of punishment at the end of the thesis is complemented by a judicial analysis, which is also focused on the adequacy or inadequacy of punishments.
