Cílem bakalářské práce bylo provést analýzu česky psaných turistických průvodců od konce 19. století do roku 1989 se zaměřením na technickou stránku jednotlivých knih (vazba, užitý papír apod.), na stránku typografickou (písmo, ilustrace, fotografie, mapy a plánky atd.) a v neposlední řadě na stránku obsahovou, ve které se autorka zaměřila na všechny tři části knihy úvod, samotný text, závěr. Poslední kapitola je věnovaná tematicky výjimečným průvodcům vydaným napříč celým zkoumaným obdobím. Autorka se snažila určit dobové trendy a postihnout jednotlivé vývojové linie. Kapitoly jsou dělené tematicky, nikoli podle tradičních historických, politických či kulturních mezníků.The aim of this bachelor thesis was to analyse Czech tourist guides from the end of the 19th century to 1989 focusing on the technical side of books (binding, paper, etc.), their typography (font, illustrations, photographs, maps and plans, etc.) and, last but not least, to the content page in which she focused on all three parts of the book - introduction, the text itself, the conclusion. The last chapter is dedicated to the thematically exceptional tourist guides issued across the entire period under review. She sought to define the contemporary trends and the stages of the development. The chapters are divided thematically, not according to traditional historical, political or cultural milestones.
