Diplomová práce je zaměřena na úpravu textu pro žáky se sluchovým postižením. První kapitola teoretické části se věnuje obecně čtenářství a jeho atraktivitě. Druhá kapitola je věnována četbě osob se sluchovým postižením, kde jsou popsány jak počátky četby u osob se sluchovým postižením, tak i problémy, které mohou při čtení nastat. Obsahem třetí kapitoly jsou informace o formálním zařazení hodin čtení do výuky dle Rámcového vzdělávacího programu. Poslední kapitola teoretické části je věnována žánru fantasy. V praktické části jsou pak popsány konkrétní úpravy, které byly provedeny v textu knihy Hobit aneb Cesta tam a zase zpátky (J. R. R. Tolkien). Upravený text je součástí přílohy (upravená kniha je svázána zvlášť).The thesis focuses on adaptation of texts for pupils with hearing impairment. The first chapter of the theoretic part deals with reading and its attractiveness. The second chapter is devoted to reading of the persons with the hearing impairment, both their beginnings of reading and problems which can occur while their reading. The contents of the third chapter is information about the formal including the reading lessons into the education according the Frame Educational Program. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the fantasy genre. The practical part describes the specific ways of adaptation which were performed in the text of the book Hobbit, or There and Back Again, which is part of the attachement (the adapted book in separate volume).
