Tato magisterská diplomová práce zkoumá projevy Jungova konceptu archetypálního obrazu zraněného léčitele v motivacích psychoterapeutů vedoucích k výběru psychoterapie jako povolání, ke studiu psychologie na vysoké škole, k volbě psychoterapeutického výcviku a v poslední řadě k setrvání v psychoterapeutické praxi. Výzkumný soubor tvoří 13 praktikujících psychoterapeutů. Výzkum je proveden kvalitativní metodologií. Data byla získávána polostrukturovanými rozhovory a pozorováním, analyzována a interpretována pomocí metody zakotvené teorie. Výsledky ukazují, že 77 % (n=10) terapeutů zažilo alespoň jedno významné zranění, které ovlivnilo volbu povolání či výkon psychoterapeutické praxe. Tato zranění byla většinou narcistní povahy, způsobená v rodinném prostředí během dětství. Nejčastěji udávané altruistické motivy pomáhat druhým byly díky uvědomění těchto zranění s velikým časovým odstupem, po dosažení 30 let, revidovány. Výzkum se řadí mezi studie poukazující na souvislosti motivace ke vstupu do psychoterapeutické profese s nevědomým záměrem vyléčit svá vlastní zranění.This theses explores the manifestations of Jung's concept of the archetypal image of the wounded healer in the motivations of psychotherapists leading to their career choice, to study psychology, to select psychotherapeutical training and lastly, to remain in psychotherapeutic practice. Research sample consists of 13 practicing psychotherapists. Research is conducted through qualitative methodology. The data was aquired by semi-structured interviews and observation, analyzed and interpreted using the grounded theory method. The results show that 77 % (n=10) of therapists experienced at least one substantial wound that affected the choice of proffesion or existing psychotherapeutical practice. The character of the wound was mostly narcissistic, caused in a family environment during childhood. The most frequently reported altruistic motives to help others have been revised after gaining the awareness of the true motives connected to the wounds, after long period of time, after reaching the age of 30. This research ranks among studies pointing to the link between motivation to enter the psychotherapeutic profession with the unconscious intent of healing their own wounds.
