Tato práce se zabývá nacistkou trestnicí na Mírově během období okupace. V rámci práce je prezentováno personální obsazení věznice, včetně biografických medailonků tří vedoucích věznice. Dále je přiblížena skladba a počty vězněných osob a také tři zlomové události, které významným způsobem ovlivnily dějiny nacistické trestnice. Práce je též mikrosondou do problematiky nacistického vězeňství.This thesis aims to analyse the history of the Mürau penal institution between the years 1938 and 1945. The thesis presents the staff of penal institution and the changing purpose for which the prison was used under the Nazi administration. The biographies of three prominent prison governors are also included. Next, the composition and numbers of prisoners are also approximated. The paper also describes the most significant events and turning points in the history of the penal institution. The thesis is also a "microprobe" to the issue of Nazi prison system.
