Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na sledování vztahu waishengrenů a benshengrenů a jejich zobrazení ve filmové tvorbě taiwanské Nové vlny a zdravého realismu. Hlavní cílem práce je pozorování změny vnímání vztahů mezi těmito skupinami v průběhu času. Důraz je kladen na hledání pozitivní a negativní percepce skupin a způsob jejich zobrazení ve filmech. První část práce se zabývá vybranými režiséry, jejich životem, a dále pak samotným obdobím taiwanské Nové vlny a zdravého realismu. V teoretické části práce jsou také vysvětleny pojmy waishengren a benshengren, a je nastíněno historické pozadí, které nepochybně ovlivnilo filmovou tvorbu na Taiwanu ve druhé polovině 20. století. Druhá část práce se věnuje analýze filmů uvedených v chronologickém pořadí. Konkrétně se jedná o filmy Krásné káčátko (1965), Město smutku (1989) a Jasnější letní den (1991).This bachelor thesis is focused on monitoring the relationship between waishengren and benshengren and their representation in the film production of Taiwanese New Wave and Healthy Realism. The main aim of the thesis is to find ways of displaying waishengren and benshengren in specific Taiwanese films from the second half of the 20th century, and to observe changes in perceptions of relationships between these groups over time. Emphasis is placed on the search for positive and negative perceptions of groups and the way they are displayed in films. The first part of the thesis deals with selected directors, their lives, and then with the period of Taiwanese New Wave and Healthy Realism. The theoretical part of the thesis also explains the terms waishengren and benshengren, and outlines the historical background that undoubtedly influenced film production in Taiwan in the second half of the 20th century. In the second part author deals with the analysis of the films, listed in chronological order. In particular, they are Beautiful Duckling (1965), City of Sadness (1989) and A Brighter Summer Day (1991). Using the observed phenomena, their subsequent comparison and the combination of the acquired knowledge, the author summarizes the results of his research in the final chapter.
