Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá komentovaným překladem vybraných pohádek, které napsal bolivijský autor Guillermo Blanco Sequeiros. Obsahuje čtyři hlavní části, z nichž první se věnuje životu autora, druhá se zabývá teoretickou stranou překladu, vymezením pojmu dětské literatury, pohádky a specifiky překladu dětské literatury. Třetí část tvoří překlad samotný, který obsahuje celkem devět přeložených pohádek. Poslední část je věnována komentáři a problémům, které se vyskytly v průběhu překladu, jako je např. problematika překladu fauny a flóry či překladu jednotlivých kapitol.The subject of the present thesis is annotated translation of selected fairy tales written by Bolivian author Guillermo Blanco Sequeiros. It is divided in four parts. The first part is dedicated to the biography of the author. The second is concerned with the definition of term translation, children's literature, fairy tales and its trappings of its translation. The third part is the translation of the fairy tales and the fourth deals with the annotation and problems, which had emerged during the translation such as the translation of fauna and flora or translation of individual titles.
