Tato diplomova prace tematicky i vyzkumne na praci bakalarskou, venovanou souvislosti mezi mirou prozivane zivotni smysluplnost merenou Existencialni skalou (ESK) a jednotlivymi postoji ke smrti, jak je vymezuje Death Attitudes Scale Revised (DAP-R). Stejne nastroje byly pouzity pro vyzkum obsazeny v teto praci, ktery si ale zaroven klade hlubsi otazky a hleda souvislosti mezi prozivanim smyslu v zivote, postoji ke smrti a dalsimi aspekty jako je vira, presvedceni o posmrtnem zivote, vek, vzdelani a podobne. Vyzkum overuje vysledky nekterych prechozich vyzkumu a testuje zavery vychazejici z teorie existencialne orientovane psychologie a psychoterapeuticke praxe. Praxe v psychoterapii zrcadli zivotni zkusenost, podle ktere se zda, ze cim spise celime skutecnosti vlastni smrtelnosti, tim hloubeji si dokazeme uvedomovat hodnotu vlastniho zivota a jedinecnost a neopakovatelnost okamziku, ze kterych se sklada.This master thesis follows the topic and the research of the previous bachelor thesis that was focused on the correlation between meaning in life rate and death attitudes. In both of researches, the Existential Scale (ESK) and Death Attitudes Scale Revised (DAP-R) were used. The recent research included in the thesis studies more complex connections between the meaning in life and death attitudes such as correlations with individual belief, after-life existence concept, age, education etc. The research is testing the results of previous studies of similar kind, further existential psychology-based assumptions described in the thesis, and conclusions coming from psychotherapeutic practice. The psychotherapy shows us the daily life experience. It seems that the more we face our own life's finality, the better we are able to be conscious about the value of life and of uniqueness of each moment we live.
