Tématem této diplomové práce jsou ženy ve vysokých funkcích v nizozemské politice. První část práce je teoretická a uvádí čtenáře do problematiky žen v politice. Věnuji se zde problematice genderu, kvótám či bariérám, které brání ženám vstoupit do politického světa. Dále zde popisuji historický vývoj volebního práva pro ženy v Nizozemsku a v neposlední řadě ve své práci představuji významné ženské političky v nizozemské historii. Druhá část diplomové práce se skládá z analýzy političek ve vysokých funkcí v letech 1945 2017 v nizozemské vládě. V analýze se zaměřuji jak na celkový počet žen v politice ve srovnání s jejich mužskými kolegy v daném období, tak i na funkce a sektory političek, ve kterých v daném období byly činné a na jejich vzdělání.The topic of this diploma thesis is women in high positions throughout netherland's politics. The first part of the thesis is theoretical, aiming to initiate the reader into the problematics of women in politics. I adress the gender issues, quotas and barriers, barring the entrance of women into the world of politics.Furthermore, I describe historical development of women's vote rights in Netherlands, and last, but not least, I introduce the most significant female politicians throughout the history of this country. The second part of this thesis consists of analysing highly-positioned women in the government of Netherlands from year 1945 to 2017. In the analysis, i focus on total numbers of female politicians as opposed to their male counterparts, as well as their specific jobs and appointed government sectors during their active service, and their education.
