Předkládaná práce představuje uměleckohistorický popis Vlašské kaple v Praze. Prezentuje souhrn dosavadní literatury, podává zevrubný přehled jejích architektonických prvků a dále nastiňuje historický kontext sakrálních oválných staveb.Věnuje se rovněž otázce autorství s přihlédnutím k vlastním porovnáním s italskými stavbami téhož období.This paper presents the art historical description of the Italian Chapel in Prague. It offers a literature review on the topic, provides a comprehensive overview of the architectural features of the chapel and outlines the historical context of oval religious buildings. The paper also deals with the issue of authorship with the contribution of an original comparison with Italian buildings from the same period.
