Záměrem práce je popsat vývoj urbanizace Špindlerova Mlýna. Na základě definování prvotní těžby nerostných surovin přes politické, přírodní a společenské vlivy zhodnotíme historický vývoj města. V závěru popíšeme proces expanze města, stejně jako demografický vývoj a budoucí rozvoj.The intension of this thesis is describe the process of urbanization in Špindlerův Mlýn. According to definiton of primary extraction of raw materials through political, natural and social influences we evaluate the historical development of the city. In the end we describe the expansion of the city, just as the demographic process and future development.
