Diplomová práce je zaměřena na český překlad slavného díla Sebastiana Münstera. Kosmografia česká vznikla ve specifickém prostředí na základě žádosti katolického krále Ferdinanda I. , to mělo vliv na její odlišnou podobu. Cílem této práce je nejen popsat a analyzovat pohled na země střední Evropy, ale hlavně zrekonstruovat obraz tohoto prostoru v Kosmografii české.This thesis is focused on Czech translation of the famous book written by Sebastian Münster. The Czech Cosmography was created in specific surroundings and the translation was based on request of Catholic king Ferdinand I, it had influence on its different form. The objective of this work is not only describing and analysis of view of the lands of Central Europe, but mainly reconstruction of the image of this place in The Czech Cosmography.
