Přehledová bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice porodu mrtvého plodu. Předkládá publikované poznatky o intrauterinní smrti plodu, dále se zabývá příčinami úmrtí, diagnostikou úmrtí, léčebným postupem a vedením porodu. Zaměřuje se také na sdělení diagnózy rodičům a vyšetření plodu a matky po porodu. Rovněž přibližuje prožívání smutku a truchlení rodičů, ale i sourozenců, shrnuje poznatky o vnímání nového těhotenství a popisuje možnosti rozloučení s děťátkem. Závěrečná kapitola je věnována péči porodní asistentky o rodičku s mrtvým plodem ve všech dobách porodních a v období po porodu a předkládá také poznatky o psychologickém dopadu na porodní asistentky. Zahraniční a česká periodika, která byla v práci použita, byla vyhledána v databázích jako jsou např. Medvik, PubMed či GOOGLE Scholar.This bachelor thesis looks into the issue of stillbirth. It presents the published findings of intrauterine fetal death and deals with the cause of death, diagnosis of death, medical treatment and labour management. It also focuses on the disclosure of diagnosis to the parents, the examination of mother and fetal after the labour, gives the insight into how not only grieving parents but also siblings deal with the sadness and summarizes the findings of going through a new pregnancy. Last but not least, it describes the possible farewell ceremony with the baby. The last chapter is dedicated to the care that midwife provides to the client with stillbirth at all stages of the labour and the postpartum period and presents the findings of psychological impact on midwives.
