Bakalářská práce shrnuje informace o historii i současnosti radioterapie v České republice. Na začátku se zabývá objevem rentgenového záření a začátky radioterapie, jejím postupným vývojem a také popisuje vznik České onkologické společnosti. Podrobněji se zaměřuje na historii a současnost radioterapie v Čechách a na Moravě, kde zmiňuje důležité onkologické kliniky. Poslední část bakalářské práce se věnuje Onkologické klinice ve Fakultní nemocnici Olomouc, kde se zaměřuje na její historii i současnost. Mimo to zmiňuje složení personálu oddělení a výuku, kterou klinika poskytuje jak LF UPOL, tak i FZV UPOL.The bachelor thesis summarizes information about the his-tory and present of radiotherapy in the Czech Republic. At the beginning, it deals with discovery of X-radiation and beginnings & development of radiotherapy and in addition describes the creation of the Czech Oncological Society. It then more specifically focuses on the history and present of radiotherapy in Bohemia and Moravia and mentions the important oncology clinics. The last part of the thesis deals with the Department of Oncology at the FNOL, where it focuses on its history and present. In addition, it mentions the composition of the personnel department and teaching provided by the clinic to both LF UPOL and FZV UPOL.
