El objetivo de este Trabajo Fin de Máster es crear un estudio comparativo espa?ol-checo de los marcadores del discurso. El análisis que se centra en las formas, funciones y distribución de los marcadores del discurso está basado en los datos extraídos de la obra Cinco horas con Mario y su traducción checa Pět hodin s Mariem. La parte téorica trata los orígenes y la evolución de la pragmática, definiendo su estatus a base de las contribuciones por parte de varios autores importantes en este ámbito. También se presenta la parte teórica sobre los marcadores en la que se describen las tendencias tanto en el ámbito espa?ol como en el ámbito checo, ambos con sus correspondientes clasificaciones. En la parte analítica se llegan a elegir, a base de los resultados, dos marcadores (a ver, fíjate) del grupo más frecuente cuyo análisis se centra en la frecuencia, distribución y su significado que se ve condicionado por las funciones que adquieren los marcadores en un contexto determinado.The present MA thesis is comparative in nature and its aim is to compare Spanish and Czech in the domain of discourse markers. The analysis of forms, functions and distribution of these markers is based on data excerpted from the Spanish novel Cinco horas con Mario (Five Hours with Mario) and its published Czech translation Pět hodin s Mariem. The theoretical part of the thesis outlines the origin and development of pragmatics, defines its status, as reflected in the studies of its main protagonists, and surveys various taxonomies of discourse markers both in Spanish as the source language and Czech as the target language. In the analytical part, the focus is narrowed to two discourse markers (a ver, fíjate), representing the most frequent functional classes in the proposed taxonomies. Attention is paid to their frequency, distribution, and before all to the context-sensitive interpretations of their functions emergent from the Spanish source and its Czech translation.
