Cílem této magisterské diplomové práce je zmapovat současnou situaci LGBT komunity v Čínské lidové republice skrze důkladné prozkoumání odborné literatury a vědeckých článků. Na základě primárních a sekundárních zdrojů budou stanoveny hypotézy a sestaven dotazník. Hypotézy se týkají za prvé, role internetu v sociálním životě čínské homosexuální populace; za druhé, role a důležitosti tongzhi literatury; za třetí, role a důležitosti LGBT barů a LGBT organizací a za čtvrté, čínských masových médií a jejich pozornosti věnované LGBT problematice. Poté bude provedena analýza odpovědí dotazníku a na základě výsledků budou vyvráceny či potvrzeny stanovené hypotézy.The aim of this master's thesis is to map the current situation of LGBT community in the People's Republic of China through a thorough examination of literature and scientific articles. Based on the primary and secondary sources, a hypothesis and a questionnaire will be established. The hypotheses are firstly, the role of the Internet in social life of homosexual Chinese population; secondly, the role and importance of tongzhi literature; thirdly, the role and importance of LGBT bars and LGBT organizations and finally, the importance and influence of Chinese mass media and their attention devoted to LGBT issues. After that an analysis of the questionnaire will be carried out and according to the results the hypothesis given above will be proven right or wrong.
