Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dostupností a využitím soudního tlumočení anglického jazyka Policií České republiky v Severomoravském kraji. Cílem této práce je zjistit, nakolik jsou tlumočníci anglického jazyka využíváni policií v Severomoravském kraji, jakým způsobem si policie soudní tlumočníky vybírá a jak je kontaktuje a dále také jak jsou tlumočníci spokojeni s odměňováním soudních tlumočníků. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. V první části, která je teoretická, je charakterizováno soudní tlumočení a práce soudních tlumočníků. Praktická část práce se zabývá vyhodnocením dotazníkového šetření. Jeho cílem je zjistit, nakolik jsou tlumočníci anglického jazyka využíváni policií v Severomoravském kraji, jakým způsobem si policie soudní tlumočníky vybírá, jak tlumočníky kontaktuje a dále také jak jsou tlumočníci spokojeni s odměňováním soudních tlumočníků.This Bachelor thesis examines the availability and use of court interpreters of the English language by the Police of the Czech Republic in the North Moravian region. The aim of the thesis is to find out how often interpreters are used for interpreting by the Czech police, how do the Police contact them, whether they find themselves in situations where they are forced to refuse cooperation, how satisfied they are with the system of rewards and how satisfied they are with the system of awarding and reporting contracts. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part, which is theoretical, characterizes the work of court interpreters. The practical part deals with the evaluation of questionnaires. The aim of the questionnaires is to find out to what extent court interpreters of the English language are used by the police in the North Moravian region. It also examines the way the Police seek out court interpreters and how they contact them and how interpreters are satisfied with their remuneration.
