Cílem této bakalářská práce je pomocí nástrojů matematické statistiky analyzovat výsledky tenisových grandslamových turnajů odehraných v roce 2015. Data jsme podrobili různorodým testům hypotéz (test nezávislosti, Shapirův-Wilkův test, ANOVA). Účelem práce bylo porovnat jednotlivé grandslamové turnaje z různých hledisek a zjistit, zda se mezi sebou liší na základě známých domněnek tenisové veřejnosti. Na základě analýzy získaných dat jsme došli k závěru, že se jednotlivé grandslamové turnaje ve většině vybraných hledisek, jako je například počet odehraných setů, nebo počet odehraných tie-breaků, neliší. Vyvrátili jsme domněnky tenisové veřejnosti, jež navrhují že, na turnaji French Open se odehraje nejvíc pětisetových utkání a nejvíce tie-breaků ze všech grandslamových turnajů.This thesis focuses on analysing tennis Grand Slam tournaments results of 2015 by the means of mathematical statistics. Multiple statistical tests (such as Pearson's chi-squared test, Shapiro-Wilk test, ANOVA) were realized to test the set hypotheses. The thesis seeks to compare different aspects of each tennis Grand Slam tournament and seeks to investigate whether the results of each tournaments differ according to the assumptions of the tennis community. The conclusion is based on the mathematical analysis of the gained data and shows that the Grand Slam tournaments do not differ in most of the set aspects (e.g. set per match count, tiebreak count). The assumptions of the tennis community saying that there is the highest number of five-setters and the highest number of matches ending in tiebreak at French Open were disproved.
