Práce se primárně zabývá ženskými postavami v povídkové tvorbě současné čínské spisovatelky Sheng Keyi. Polemizuje s tvrzením, že Sheng Keyi se na rozdíl od jiných spisovatelek své generace zaměřuje především na postavy mladých žen venkovského původu a nízké úrovně vzdělání, a analýzou patnácti povídek ze sbírky Keyi shu se snaží dokázat, že typologie ženských postav je v její tvorbě rozmanitější. Zároveň sleduje, jak jednotlivé povídky reflektují postavení ženy v čínské post-socialistické společnosti. Práce dále představuje osobnost a tvorbu Sheng Keyi, sestavuje její životopis i seznam dosavadní tvorby a řadí ji do kontextu čínské ženské literatury.The thesis centers on female literary characters in the short stories of contemporary Chinese female writer Sheng Keyi. It tries to challenge the statement that unlike other female writers of the same generation, Sheng Keyi usually focuses her stories on young women of rural origin and low education level. Through the analysis of short stories collection Keyi shu, the work argues that the range of depicted female characters is presumably more diverse. The work also examines how the short stories reflect the social status of women in Post-socialist China. Further, the work presents a set of information about life and work of Sheng Keyi, compiles the biographical data, creates a list of existing literary works and puts Sheng Keyi into the context of contemporary Chinese Women literature.
