Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problémem náboženské perzekuce a porušování náboženské svobody ve vybraných zemích Latinské Ameriky. V úvodní části práce vymezuje důležité pojmy a objasňuje povahu použitých zdrojů. Následují čtyři případové studie členěné do dvou kapitol. První dvě případové studie zahrnují Ekvádor a Bolívii, kde autorka zkoumá levicové vlády jako původce náboženské netolerance a jejich vztah vůči tamním katolickým církvím. Dalšími jsou případové studie Mexika a Kuby. V případě Mexika jde o hlubší analýzu historického vývoje vztahu církve a vlády, která sahá do období kristerského povstání, tzv. cristiady, tedy 1. pol. 20. stol. Dále práce rozebírá případy perzekuce katolické církve a napětí mezi katolickými tradicionalisty a protestanty v současnosti, tj. v období 20082014. Závěrečná podkapitola je věnována Kubě ovládané kubánskou komunistickou stranou (PCC) a mimo její konflikt s katolickou církví práce pojednává o restrikcích vůči tamním lidsko-právním hnutím, která s církví spolupracují.The following bachelor thesis concerns the issue of religious persecution and the violence on religious freedom in chosen countries of Latin America. In the first part of the thesis, there are important terms explained as well as the key sources described. This chapter is followed by four case studies divided into two chapters. First chapter includes the case studies of Bolivia and Ecuador, where the author focuses on the leftist governments as the originators of religious intolerance and their relationships to the Roman Catholic Church. Another chapter addresses the cases studies of Mexico and Cuba. The problem o Mexico is analysed in his historical process of the church and state relationship. Particularly it concerns the period of cristero revolution, so called cristiada. Then the study describes the cases of the religious persecution in catholic environment, as well as the tension between catholic traditionalists and evangelicals in present time (20082014). Last chapter deals with Cuba, which is under the control of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC). The thesis issues its conflict with the Catholic Church and restrictions on Cuban human-rights activists.
