Práce podává souhrn faktorů, které stály za procesem rušení železničních tratí v ČR. Následně jsou charakterizovány výhody a nevýhody stavby cyklostezek v místech zrušených železnic. Tyto tzv. drážní stezky jsou následně lokalizovány, včetně popisu současného stavu stezek, s doplněním o důvody, které stály za zánikem jednotlivých tratí.The thesis summarizes the factors that caused the process of abandonment of the railway tracks in the Czech Republic. The paper then describes the advantages and disadvantages of building cycle paths in the areas of the former railway track. Localization of such a rail-trails follows with a describtion of the current state of the paths and the reasons why the current railway tracks was abandoned.
