Diplomová práce se věnuje translatologické analýze tří českých překladů Gogolova dramatu Hráči. Cílem práce je určit strategii a metody překladatelů. V začátku práce se věnujeme životu a tvorbě Nikolaje Vasiljeviče Gogola, představujeme drama Hráči a jeho překladatele do češtiny. Součástí práce je kapitola zabývající se problematikou překladu dramatického textu, která slouží jako platforma pro následnou translatologickou analýzu. Při analýze postupujeme metodou srovnání překladů jak ve vztahu k originálu, tak mezi sebou. Pozornost je soustředěna nejen na lexikální stránku jazyka, jako je překlad vlastních jmen, jazykového substandardu, ruských reálií či cizojazyčného lexika, ale rovněž na celkovou charakteristiku překládaných textů. V závěru uvádíme výsledné porovnání a zhodnocení všech tří překladů.The diploma thesis is focused on translatological analysis of three Czech translations of Nikolai Gogol's drama "The Gamblers". The main goal of this thesis is to capture the strategy and methods of the translators. The introductory chapters are devoted to the life and work of Nikolai Gogol and the plot of "The Gamblers" is introduced as well as the Czech translators of the play. The crucial part of the thesis explains the potential problems when translating theatre plays and serves as a platform for the following translatological chapter. The focus is on the lexical aspects of the language, such as translation of proper names, Russian facts, foreign lexicon etc., as well as on the general characteristic of translated texts. In the conclusion we demonstrate the final comparision and critical evaluation of all three Czech translations.
