Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím škály "WHO Oral Mucositis Grading Scale" k hodnocení dutiny ústní u onkologických pacientů. Teoretická východiska obsahují přehled dohledaných informací o postupu hodnocení a úloze všeobecných sester při posuzování dutiny ústní, dále pak škály používané ve světě k hodnocení dutiny ústní u pacientů s mukozitidou. Na teoretická východiska navazuje výzkumné šetření, které je zaměřeno na všeobecné sestry pracující na onkologických pracovištích v nemocnicích ČR. V nestandardizovaném dotazníku bylo mapováno, zda sestry využívají ke své práci škálu "WHO Oral Mucositis Grading Scale".The thesis deals with use of the scale Criteria of toxicity for mucositis according to WHO for assessment of the oral cavity at patients with oncological treatment. The theoretical base includes a summary of formal information about proper procedure of assessment, a role of a nurse at the assessment of the oral cavity, further the scale used all around the world for the assessment of the oral cavity of patients with mucositis. Scientific research aimed at nurses working on oncological wards of chosen hospitals comes after the theoretical part. In the questionnaire of own construction it was mapped if the nurses use for their work the WHO Oral Mucositis Grading Scale and if this scale is helpful for nurses´work.
