V první teoretické části mé práce se zabývám autory jejichž umění je spojeno různými způsoby s tématem nebo symbolem lebky. V jejich díle figuruje jako hlavní symbol lebka a díky ní promlouvají k divákovi. Další úsek mapuje symboliku lebek. Nejen z historického hlediska, ale i v kontextu lidské společnosti a užití lebky k různým účelům. Další částí je popis technologie potřebné k výrobě mých děl. Modelování z hlíny, výroba formy, použití lukoprenu a následné zpracování jednotlivých lebek. V poslední části popisuji jednotlivou symboliku lebek, toho jaký význam jsem chtěla skrze jednotlivé lebky sdělit, jaký způsob jsem zvolila a proč. Popisuji jak nad lebkou přemýšlím a jak ji vnímám a zdůrazňuji individuální přístup každého člověka k tomuto symbolu.In the first theoretical part of my work I concern myself with authors whose art is differently related to the theme or symbol of skull. Skull is the central motive in these author's work, it is the medium through which they speak to their audience. The following section describes the symbolism of skulls; not only from the historical perspective but also contextually within the history of mankind and takes in account the usage of skulls for various purposes. Another section constitutes the description of technology needed for creating my artwork; clay modeling, creation of the mold, usage of lukopren, and subsequently processing the individual skulls. In the last section I describe the symbolism of each skull, the meaning I wanted to convey through them, and the reasoning behind my decisions. I describe how I think about the skull, how I perceive it and emphasize the individual approach of each person to this motive.
