Cílem této magisterské diplomové práce je popsat a charakterizovat žánrové znaky docusoap, a to pomocí případové diskursní analýzy českého zástupce žánru pořadu Čtyři v tom. Základní metodologií je teorie Jasona Mittella, který chápe žánrové kategorie jako produkt vznikající v širším kulturním kontextu, konkrétně působením produkčního zázemí, divácké recepce, publicistické a akademické reflexe a samotným korpusem textů. Tato práce využívá analýzy produkčního diskursu, diváckého diskursu a institučního působení konkrétního zástupce žánru ke komplexnímu popsání jeho žánrové příslušnosti. Analytické postupy této práce vycházejí z důkladného popsání konvencí žánrů dokumentu, reality TV a soap opery, které jsou díky hybridizačním procesům zdrojem pravidel docusoapu.The aim of this master's dissertation is to describe and characterize the genre features of docusoap employing the approaches of case study and discourse analysis of a Czech TV programme called Čtyři v tom. The fundamental methodology used in this work is a theory by Jason Mittell, who understands genre categories as a product which is created within a larger cultural context, to be more precise, by the effects of the environment of production, reception of audience, journalistic and academic reflection and the text corpus itself. In order to reach a complex description of a genre categorization, there is an analysis of production discourse used in the work as well as analysis of audience discourse and of the institutional effects of a concrete genre representative. The analytical methods used in the dissertation are based on a detailed characterization of conventions of documentary genres, reality TV, and soap opera which are, thanks to the hybridization processes, a source of rules of docusoap.
