Diplomová práce La femme dans l'oeuvre romanesque d'Eliette Abécassis analyzuje a komentuje role a pozici žen v románové tvorbě soudobé francouzské autorky. V první části práce představujeme život a dílo autorky a zařazujeme ji do kontextu dnešní francouzské literatury, ve druhé části pak představujeme a rozebíráme její tři romány. Třetí část se zaměřuje na motiv ženy, roli mateřství, vztah mezi matkou a dcerou, stárnutí a neplodnost. Celá práce je uzavřena pohledem na pozici ženy v současné společnosti a roli feminismu dnes.The following Diploma Thesis La femme dans l´oeuvre romanesque d´Eliette Abécassis analyzes and comments on the role and status of women in the fiction written by contemporary French female author.The first part introduces the life and work of the author and puts her in context of the contemporary French literature. The second part then introduces and discusses three of her novels. The third part focuses on the concept of woman, the role of motherhood, the relationship between mother and daughter, ageing and infertility. The Thesis concludes with a general overview of the status of women in modern society and the role of feminism today.
