Autor práce se zabývá vymezením dominantních institucí české kinematografie a možnostem, které mohou nezávislé produkční subjekty využívat. Autor se dále zabývá legislativou týkající se činnosti producenta a kontextualizuje pojem mód produkce. Autor komentuje různé formy podpory, rozestavení institucí v české kinematografii a jejich postoj k aktivitám producentů. V případové studii týkající se firmy endorfilm je rozebíráno postavení firmy ve vztahu k dominantním institucím. V průběhu případové studie autor pojednává o producentových signifikantních aktivitách, rozebírá portfolio filmů (produktů). Autor převážně čerpá informací z dotazníku zpracovaného pro účely této studie a rozhovoru s producentem a majitelem firmy Jiřím Konečným.The author focuses on determinative conditions in czech cinematography and it's institutions in order to describe possibilities of existence of independent production firms. Author analyze the term "independence" from various point's of view according to the common czech production terminology and comments on the term 'mode of production' that is considered as historically unstable. Another topics are forms of funding and the consideration of producer's activities of funds. In case study we focused on the samll independent firm endorfilm s.r.o. We analyze it's relation to the dominant film related institutions. The study also focuses on the company's significant production activities such as the development of a screeplay, funding and portfolio management. I examine the funding schemes of endorfilm's portfolio of films (products); and I comment on these schemes utilizing the terminology of Gomery as well as information gathered from a questionnaire and interview with producer Jiri Konecny, the head of company.
