Obsahem této bakalářské práce je analýza zpravodajských textů vybraných zpravodajských agentur v lednu roku 2015 se zaměřením na prostor, kterému se dostalo obětem ukrajinského konfliktu. Jejím cílem je zjistit, zda je obětem konfliktu vymezen v různých agenturách stejný prostor. Analýza byla provedena na zpravodajských agenturách Associated Press, BBC, Reuters a RIA Novosti. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. První, delší část, je teoretická, druhá část je praktická. První část osvětluje užitou metodu výzkumu, věnuje se válečnému zpravodajství, zpravodajským hodnotám, vlivu médií a také obsahuje část, ve které je uvedena stručná historie Rusko-ukrajinských vztahů. Praktická část představuje výzkumné šetření prostřednictvím kvantitativní obsahové analýzy. Analýza konfliktu sleduje proměnné: počet obětí, počet zpravodajských sdělení věnujících se obětem a počet civilních a vojenských obětí.This work contains an analysis of selected news agencies in the course of January 2015 by the extend of information provided for victims of the ukrainian conflict. The aim of this work is to find out whether the victims of the conflict defined in the various news agencies the same extend of information. The analysis was realized on the news agencies Associated Press, BBC, Reuters and RIA Novosti. The bachelor diploma thesis consists of two parts. The first and longer part is theoretical and the second part is practical. The first part elucidate the used research method and is dedicated to the war news reporting, news values, media influences and also contains a section, which provides a brief history of Russian-Ukrainian relations. The practical part presents the the research through quantitative content analysis. Analysis of the conflict monitors variables: the number of victims, the number of news devoted to the victims and the number of civilian and military victims.
