Predkladaná práca má poslúžiť k prehĺbeniu kristológie a spirituálnej teológie. Gemma Galgani nám poskytuje cez svedectvo vlastného života, cez svoje spisy a cez svoju silno kristocentrickú skúsenosť overenie tajomstva vykúpenia, ktoré je prínosom pre teológiu. V práci predstavíme prostredie a pramene Gemminej duchovnej skúsenosti, jej osobný vzťah s Ježišom a nakoniec jej teologický a duchovný odkaz. V jej prípade ide o prežívanú teológiu: o prežívanú teológiu vykúpenia, o prežívanú teológiu kríža či najväčšej lásky. Gemma predstavuje živý obraz ukrižovaného Krista a jej život je príbehom lásky, príbehom jednej zamilovanej duše, je to život naplnený láskou Ukrižovaného Ježiša, Vykupiteľa človeka. A práve dôverný vzťah s Ježišom, do ktorého jej umožňuje vstúpiť jej jednoduchosť, tvorí jadro jej mystiky. Kristus v skúsenosti Gemmy nie je len príkladom, ku ktorému sa vracia v spomienkach a ktorého obdivuje, ale on sa jej darúva, jeho krv koluje v jej žilách a mení jej život v jej konkrétnej prítomnosti.The present thesis should serve to deepen christology and spiritual theology. Gemma Galgani gives us, through the testimony of her life, through her writtings and through her strong christocentric experience, the verification of the mystery of redemption, which is important for theology. In this thesis we present the ent and the sources of Gemma´s spiritual experience, her personal relationship with Jesus and at last her theological and spiritual message. In her case it is the lived theology: the lived theology of the redemption, the lived theology of the cross or of the greatest love. Gemma presents the live image of the crucified Christ and her life is a love story, a story of the one soul in love, it is a life full of love for Jesus Crucified, the Redemeer of man. Her simplicity allows her entry into the confidential relationship with Jesus, which forms the center of her mysticism. Christ in the experience of Gemma is not only an example to which she returns in memories and whom she admires, but he gives himself to her, his blood runs in her veins and change her life in her concrete presence.
