Tato práce se zabývá volnočasovými aktivitami pro děti, žáky a studenty s mentálním postižením ze zařízení s názvem Dětský domov, Mateřská škola, Základní škola a Praktická škola Zlín. V teoretické části je vymezen pojem mentální retardace, dále klasifikace a etiologie. Také jsou zde popsány psychologické zvláštnosti osobnosti jedince a edukace těchto žáků. Ve druhé kapitole je popsán volný čas, funkce a expresivní terapie. Třetí kapitola seznamuje s našim zařízením a popisuje požadavky kladené na děti a žáky. Praktická část je věnována kvalitativnímu výzkumu formou pozorování žáků ve volnočasových aktivitách neboli kroužcích. Cílem je zmapovat průběh volnočasových aktivit, náročnost a dostupnost pro žáky s mentálním postižením. Praktická část je zakončená shrnutím a doporučením pro praxi.This thesis deals with leisure activities for children, pupils and students with mental disability from the facility called Children's home, Nursery, Primary School and Practical School Zlín. In the theoretical part there is defined the term of mental retardation, following classification and etiology. There are also described psychological strangeness of individual's character and education of these pupils. In the second chapter there is described leisure time, functions and expressive therapy. Third chapter acquaints with our facility and describes demands placed on children and pupils. Practical part is devoted to qualitative research in form of observing pupils in their leisure activities that is in their hobbies. The aim is to map the course of the leisure activities, difficulty and availability for pupils with mental disability. Practical part is ended by the summarization and recommendation for praxis.
