Bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá postavou hlavního hrdiny homérského eposu Ilias, Achillea, a jeho chováním v průběhu celého jeho života, od doby dětství a dospívání až po slavnou smrt. S pomocí událostí, vybraných tak, aby vytvořily hrdinův plastický obraz a ukázaly složitost jeho charakteru, zkoumá jeho činy a hodnotí je z pohledu člověka jedenadvacátého století. Jednotlivé kapitoly se též věnují i důležitým osobám v Achilleově životě, s nimiž ho pojily různé vazby a k nimž choval rozličné pocity, a přispívají tedy k lepší ilustraci jeho osobnosti. Závěr nabízí další možnosti a tipy, jak by se dalo toto téma dále probádat a rozšířit.Bachelor's work deals the central character of Homer's Illiad, Achilles, and his behaviour during his all life, from childhood and teen years to a famous death. This work explores his acts with the aid of evens, which was selected to make hero's complex picture and demonstrate complexity of his character, and describes his acts from the point of view of 21st century reader. Individual chapters deal an important people in Achilles' life. Achilles has different relantionships with them and he feels different senses to them. These things help to better illustration of his personality. The end of this work offers the next possibilities and tips, how this theme research and extend.
