V diplomové práci se zaměřuji na mateřskou školu jako centrum komunitního vzdělávání. Cílem je charakterizovat komunitu a komunitní vzdělávání ve vztahu k mateřským školám a navrhnout aktivity v rámci komunitního vzdělávání, které může mateřská škola nabídnout veřejnosti. V teoretické části vymezuji pojmy komunita a komunitní vzdělávání, dále se zabývám mateřskou školou a spoluprací s rodinou a ostatními organizacemi. Následně provádím případovou studii v konkrétní mateřské škole. Cílem je zjistit, jak MŠ Sluníčko reaguje svými aktivitami na požadavky komunity. A zda může být považována za komunitní školu.In this thesis, I focus on the infant school as a center of community education. The main aim is to characterize the community and community education in relation to infant schools and to propose activities within the community education that the infant school can offer to public. In the theoretical part, I define the concepts of community and community education, then I deal with the infant school and its cooperation with families and other organizations. Consequently I conduct a case study in the particular infant school. The main target is to determine how the infant school "Sluníčko" responds with its activities to the community demands. And whether it can be considered as a community school.
