Cílem této práce bylo analyzovat novým, dosud neaplikovaným způsobem tvoření slov ve španělštině a v češtině a porovnat frekvenci přípon s metonymickými patróny slov a tím zjistit zda je možné sledovat vztah mezi příponami a metonymickým významem zkoumaných slov. Práce byla inspirovaná principem kognitivní lingvistiky a výzkumem Laury A. Jandy Metonymy in word-formation, kde autorka představuje metonymické rozřazení slov s příponami v ruštině, češtině a norštině.The aim of this thesis was to analyze words formation in the Spanish and Czech language using a new method which had not been applied yet. In addition, it was to compare the frequence of suffixes with metonymical patterns of words and this way to find out if it is possible to see relation between suffixes and the metonymical meaning of the researched words. The thesis was inspired by the principle of cognitive liguistics and by the research of Laura A. Janda Metonymy in word-formation, where the author presents metonymical classification of words with suffixes in Russian, Czech and Norwegian.
