Cílem této bakalářské práce je přiblížit případ komunistické perzekuce církví v Československu v období vlády KSČ v letech 19481989, a to konkrétně menší protestantské denominace, Církve bratrské (dříve Jednota českobratrská). Práce se zabývá jednak souhrnným přehledem omezování církve v padesátých letech, především však procesy s věřícími ze sboru v Pardubicích a Litomyšle z první poloviny šedesátých let. Rozbor archivních pramenů odhalil zpolitizování všech tří procesů, které roku 1962 proběhly. Věřící byli postihováni pro svou víru a za své aktivní vystupování v církvi. Dokumenty z archivů byly doplněny vzpomínkami pamětníků, především psanými.The main idea of this bachelor thesis is to show the case of the communist persecution of the churches in Czechoslovakia in the era of the Communist Party in 19481989, namely one of the lesser protestant churches, the Church of Brethen (formerly the Unity of the Czech Brethen). In this thesis I am going to present the inclusive outline of the persecution of the Church of Brethen in the 1950s, especially I would like to describe the lawsuits with the believers from Pardubice and Litomyšl in the early 1960s. The analysis of the archive materials proved that all three trials in 1962 were politicized. The believers were persecuted because of their belief and their active service in the church, like the organizing of the choir, the religious education of the youth, the preching etc. In addition to the documents from the archives the memories of the survivors, mainly written, were used.
