Tato bakalářská práce popisuje a zkoumá ostrov Svatého Martina, který je součástí bývalých Nizozemských Antil. Cílem této bakalářské práce je srovnání nizozemské části ostrova Svatého Martina s Nizozemskem a popis historie ostrova, jeho obyvatelstva, ekonomiky, památek, geografie a také jazyka, kterým se na ostrově mluví.This thesis describes and explores the island of Saint Martin, which is part of the former Netherlands Antilles. The goal of this thesis is comparison Dutch part of the island with The Netherlands in Europe, description of history of the island, its population, economy, monuments, geography and language that is spoken on the island.
