Cílem bakalářské práce bylo zmapovat u vybraných respondentů starších dvaceti let změny v manželském chování, se zaměřením na subjektivně vnímané funkce manželství, podmínky před sňatkem, motivaci k manželství, očekávání od manželství, komunikaci o svých potřebách a přáních a rozdělení rolí v manželském vztahu. Teoretická část je věnována stručnému postihnutí historie a nastínění současného stavu manželství, především oblastí funkce manželství, možných příčin poklesu sňatečnosti, alternativ manželství, výběru partnera, primární motivace k manželství, očekávání a rozdělení rolí. Výzkumná část má kvantitativní charakter, kdy data byla nasbírána pomocí dotazníku vlastní tvorby a testována analýzou hlavních komponent, jednofaktorovou analýzou rozptylu a Tukeyovým testem. Byly zjišťovány signifikantní rozdíly mezi čtyřmi skupinami, na které byl rozdělen náš výběrový soubor. Ten tvořilo celkem 322 respondentů. Výsledky analýz ukázaly statisticky významné rozdíly mezi respondenty 20-39 let a 60 a více let ve vnímaných funkcích manželství, v podmínkách před sňatkem, očekávání od manželství a rozdělení rolí v manželství.The aim of the thesis was to survey changes in marital behavior of selected respondents over twenty years old. We focused on subjectively perceived function of marriage, the conditions prior to marriage, the motivation for marriage, expectations of marriage, communicating about their needs and desires, and division of roles in the marital relationship. The theoretical part is devoted to a brief outline capture the history and current state of marriage, especially the areas of marriage function, the possible causes of the decline of marriage rate, the alternatives of marriage, partner selection, the partner motivation for marriage, division of roles and expectations of marriage. The research part is a quantitative research, where data was collected by own made questionnaire and tested by principal component analysis, one-way analysis of variance and Tukey test. We were searching for significant differences between the four groups of respondents. Our study included a total of 322 participants. Results of the analyzes showed statistically significant differences between respondents 20-39 years old and respondents 60 years and over in perceived function of marriage, in the conditions prior to marriage, in expectations of marriage and in division of roles in the marital relationship.
