Diplomová práce se zabývá fungováním obecní samosprávy města Hranic v letech 1850-1914. Nabízí pohled do hospodářství města a průmyslového vývoje ve sledovaném období. Práce se krátce věnuje legislativnímu vývoji upravující obecní samosprávu. Dále hranickým obecním výborům a personální kontinuitě jejich členů. Pozornost věnuje i oprávněným voličům a jejich sociální struktuře. V další části práce je prostor pro výsledky činnosti obecní samosprávy, a sice budování komunální infrastruktury. V závěru se práce věnuje průmyslovému zastoupení ve sledovaném období.This thesis deals with the functioning of the municipal government city boundaries in the years 1850-1914. This thesis offers an insight into the economy of the city and industrial development over the period. The study also briefly discusses the legislative developments regulating local government. Furthermore Hranice municipal committees and personnel continuity of their members. Attention is paid to legitimate voters and their social structure. The next section is a space for the performance of the local authorities, namely the building of communal infrastructure. At the end of the work deals with industrial reporting in the period.
