Diplomová práce shrnuje poznatky o verbech dicendi, jejich roli v určování komunikační funkce a reflexi řečové činnosti. Na korpusových datech srovnává uţívání uvozovacích vět a sloves mluvení v beletrii a publicistice. Kvantitativně podkládá typické gramatické kategorie pro uţití této skupiny sloves při uvozování přímé řeči. Obsahuje kompletní seznamy sloves uţívaných v uvozovacích větách v korpusu SYN2010.This master thesis summarises knowledge of verba dicendi, their role in determination of the illocutionary forces, and the speech activity reflection. It compares usage of introductory clauses and speech verbs in fiction and journalism via the database of the Czech National Corpora. It describes typical grammatical categories of this group of verbs when introducing direct speech. It contains the complete lists of verbs used in introductory clauses in the SYN2010 Corpora.
