Předmětem bakalářské práce je překlad páté kapitoly s názvem "Vnímání a sluch" z původní anglické publikace Experimental phonetics, britské autorky Katriny Hayward. Překlad je opatřen komentářem, který vysvětluje způsob překladu některých pojmů do češtiny a objasňuje různé nejasnosti v odborných termínech a v textu. Práce obsahuje dále i teoretický úvod do překladu odborného textu a překladu anglického textu do češtiny, zabývá se také pojetím vnímání řeči a akustické a auditivní fonetiky v české odborné literatuře.This Bachelor Thesis is concerned with translation of a chapter titled "Perception and Hearing" from a book called Experimental Phonetics by British phonetician Katrina Hayward. The translation is accompanied with notes that explain and supplement it. Besides the translation of the phonetic text this work contains a theoretical introduction too. It concerns the translation in general, the translation of a technical text and also the translation from English to Czech specifically. Another part of our work focuses on acoustic and auditory phonetics, as they are perceived by Czech phoneticians and other scientists.
