V této práci jsem vypsal motivy z vybraných povídek Adalberta Stiftera, které mohou odpovídat znakům německého romantismu. Porovnal jsem je s motivy ryze romantického díla E.T.A. Hoffmanna "Der goldene Topf" a došel k závěru, že některé příklady lze označit jako romantické. Současně mohou být zařazeny i k biedermeieru, neboť Adalbert Stifter je obvykle označován jako autor biedermeieru.The thesis deals with the analysis of Adalbert Stifter´s short stories. It focuses on the features of the stories that can be seen as corresponding with the features of the German romanticism. They were compared with the featurs of a purely romantic story by E.T.A. Hoffmann called "Der goldene Topf". The conclusion states that some aspects in the stories can be considered romantic, however, at the same time, they can also be seen as attributes of the literary Biedermeier because Adalbert Stifter is usually considered the representative of this movement.
