Ovariální aktivita je ovlivněna množstvím vnitřních a vnějších faktorů. Působení teplotního stresu či teplotních výkyvů během roku může mít zásadní vliv na fertilitu daného živočišného druhu. V předkládané práci byl vyhodnocen vliv různých období roku (jaro, podzim a zima) na reprodukci tura domácího (Bos primigenius f. taurus) z pohledu jeho ovariální aktivity. Ovariální aktivita byla vyhodnocena počtem primárních folikulů, počtem aspirovaných oocytů, počtem cyst a úspěšností maturace oocytů. Výsledky ukázaly, že v ovariální aktivitě nebyl zjištěn mezi sledovanými obdobími roku (jaro, podzim, zima) statisticky průkazný rozdíl v průměrném počtu folikulů, počtu aspirovaných oocytů, počtu cyst a úspěšnosti maturace. Uvedená období roku jsou tak stejně vhodná pro získání dostatečného počtu oocytů a výrazně neovlivňují parametry ovariální aktivity.Ovarian activity is affected by many external and internal factors. Effect of heat stress or temperature fluctuation during the year can have a significant effect on the fertility of animal species. In this study, the influence of different periods of the year (spring, autumn, and winter) on reproduction of cattle (Bos primigenius f. taurus) was evaluated in terms of its ovarian activity. The ovarian activity was assessed by a number of primary follicles, by a number of aspirated oocytes, by a number of cysts and by a success rate of oocytes maturation. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in average number of follicles, in number of aspirated oocytes, in number of cysts and in maturation success rate between the observed periods of year (spring, autumn, and winter). The listed periods of year are, therefore, equally suitable for capture of sufficient number of oocytes and they are not an important factor which would affect the parameters of ovarian activity.
