Hlavním cílem této práce je shrnout poznatky v oblasti hypnózy, hypnability a osobnostních stylů osob a ověřit existenci resp. neexistenci rozdílné efektivity direktivní a nedirektivní hypnotické komunikace na hypnabilitu a ověřit existenci resp. neexistenci vztahu hypnability se styly osobnosti. Jako direktivní metoda byla pro sběr dat vybrána Stanfordská hypnotická klinická škála pro dospělé a jako nedirektivní byla vybrána Nedirektivní škála sugestibility. Jako metoda pro analýzu stylů osobnosti byl vybrán Inventář stylů osobnosti a poruch osobnosti. Kromě zkoumání vlivu metody hypnotizace, analyzujeme také vliv dalších proměnných, jako je pohlaví subjektů a pořadí hypnotizací, o kterých se domníváme, že mají statisticky významný vliv na hypnabilitu osob. Také zkoumáme korelace mezi naměřenou hypnabilitou direktivní a nedirektivní hypnotické komunikace, subjektivní hodnocení hloubky hypnózy pokusnými osobami a vztah hypnability a stylů osobnosti. Tento výzkumný soubor tvořilo 45 osob, které byly vybrány metodou příležitostného výběru. Výsledky výzkumu nepotvrdily statisticky významný vliv proměnné pohlaví, metody hypnotizace a pořadí hypnotizací na hypnabilitu osob, nicméně byla zjištěna statisticky významná pozitivní korelace mezi oběma metodami hypnotizace, a také statisticky významný rozdíl v subjektivním vnímání hloubky obou hypnóz ve prospěch nedirektivní metody. Nebyla rovněž prokázána statisticky významná korelace hypnability a stylů osobnosti.The main objective of this paper is to summarize the findings in the field of hypnosis, hypnotic susceptibility and personality styles of people and prove the existence respectively absence of differences in the effectiveness of direct and indirect hypnotic communication on hypnotic susceptibility and prove the existence respectively absence of relationship between hypnotic susceptibility and personality functioning styles. For data collection the Stanford Hypnotic Clinical Scale for Adults as direct method, Indirect Suggestion Scale as indirect method and Personality Styles and Disorders Inventory were chosen. Besides examining the factor of hypnotic communication, we analyse the influence of other factors such as subject´s gender and sequence of hypnotic inductions, which we believe to have a statistically significant effect on hypnotic susceptibility of subjects. We also examine the correlation between hypnotic susceptibility of direct and indirect hypnotic communication, subjective evaluation of hypnotic depth and relationship between hypnotic susceptibility and personality functioning styles. The research sample consisted of 45 people, which were selected by the occasional choice. The research results revealed no significant influence of the sex, method and sequence factor on hypnotic susceptibility, nevertheless revealed a statistically significant positive correlation between the two induction methods, and also a statistically significant difference in the subjective perception of hypnotic depth of both hypnosis in favour of indirect method was found. There wasn´t proved statistically significant correlation between hypnotic susceptibility and personality functioning styles.
