Bakalářské práce se ve stručnosti věnuje výkladu temné noci, tak jak jí učí sv. Jan od Kříže, a jeho mystické zkušenosti. Práce je psána deduktivně kompilační metodou a je dělena na tři hlavní části. V první z nich je přiblížena doba, ve které sv. Jan od Kříže vyrůstal, a jeho život. Ve druhé pak nástin rozvoje jeho vnímání Božího působení. Třetí část se zabývá zejména temnou nocí smyslů a jejich očišťováním.The bachelor thesis briefly describes the interpretation of the dark night of the soul, as St. John of the Cross teaches, and his mystical experience. Thesis is written in deductive-compilation method and is divided into three main parts. The first one is about a period in which St. John of the Cross grew up and about his life. The second part outlines the development of the perception of the God's acting. The third part deals with the dark night of the senses and its purging.
