Dobrovolnický cestovní ruch je pouze několik desítek let novou formou cestovního ruchu a nově vnikající oblastí pro výzkum. Z uvedeného důvodu je tato diplomová práce zaměřená na dobrovolnictví v kontextu cestovního ruchu. Jejím hlavním cílem je zjistit motivy mladých lidí k dobrovolné činnosti prováděné v rámci stáží Global Citizen zprostředkovaných organizací AIESEC. V přehledu poznatků jsou charakterizovány pojmy související s dobrovolnictvím, cestovním ruchem a motivací. Použité výzkumné metody respektují postupy kvalitativního výzkumu. Pro výsledkovou část byla použita data z polostrukturovaných rozhovorů provedených s 8 náhodně vybranými absolventy stáží Global Citizen a následně zpracována v analytickém programu Atlas.ti. Hlavní zjištění se týkají oblastí: motivy zájemců pro absolvování zmíněných stáží, důvody pro volbu AIESEC jako zprostředkovatele těchto stáží, hodnocení a spokojenost stážistů a přínosy dobrovolnictví a stáží Global Citizen. Výsledky diplomové práce mohou využít nejen organizace zaměřené na zprostředkování dobrovolnických programů, ale i některé cestovní kanceláře pro efektivnější propagaci svých produktů.Volunteer tourism has been only a few decades a new form of tourism and an emerging new area for research. Therefore, this thesis is focused on volunteering in the context of tourism and its main aim is to find out the motives of young people participating in voluntary work taking place within Global Citizen internship and mediated by AIESEC organization. Summary of findings is characterized by the concepts like volunteering, tourism and motivation. The research methods in this thesis are based on methods of qualitative research. For the final section of this thesis was used data from semi-structured interviews with eight randomly selected graduates of Global Citizen internship and were processed in the analytical software Atlas.ti. The main findings concern the following areas: Motives of applicants for completing mentioned internships, reasons for choosing AIESEC as intermediary of these internships, evaluation and satisfaction of interns and the benefits of Global Citizen internships and volunteering itself. This thesis may be the basis for further research and its results may be used not only by organizations dedicated to mediating volunteer programs but also by some of the travel agencies for a more effective promotion of their products.
