Práce pojednává o problematice ochrany obyvatelstva od její historie po současnost. Informuje o nynějším zařazení tohoto tématu ve výuce na základních školách a přípravě budoucích řešitelů problémů ochrany obyvatelstva na vysokých školách. Dále je v práci řešena výuka studijního oboru ochrana obyvatelstva na Fakultě tělesné kultury. Cílem a podstatnou této práce v její teoretické části je podat ucelený obraz o dané problematice a aktivit Fakulty tělesné kultury spojených s ochranou obyvatelstva. V části praktické pak pomocí tabulek a grafů zhodnotit efektivitu výuky a spokojenost posluchačů se studiem na Fakultě tělesné kultury.The thesis deals with the issue of the protection of the population from the beginnings up to the present. It informs about the current inclusion of this topic in the primary schools curriculum and the University training of future problem solvers dealing with the protection of the population. The thesis also deals with the curriculum of the subject "The protection of the population" at the Faculty of Physical Culture. The aim of this thesis in its theoretical part is to provide a comprehensive picture of the issue and of activities of the Faculty of Physical Culture associated with the protection of the population. The practical part, with the help of tables and graphs, evaluates the effectiveness of the teaching and students' satisfaction with their studies at the Faculty of Physical Culture.
