Práce se zabývá historií, dramaturgií a významem festivalu Blues Alive, jenž vznikl v roce 1996 v Šumperku. Charakterizuje vývojové tendence festivalu, rozebírá dramaturgii, popisuje tematické koncertní bloky, doprovodný program a satelitní koncerty. Reflektuje taktéž i Blues Aperitiv a Echo Blues Alive. Na základě výzkumu analyzuje strukturu publika a jeho názor na festival. Zasazuje festival do populární festivalové scény a definuje jeho význam pro rozvoj populární hudbyThe work deals with the history and the dramaturgy of the Blues Alive festival, which was established in 1996 in Šumperk. It characterizes developmental stages of the festival, analyzes the dramaturgy and describes thematic concert blocks, accompanying actions and satellite concerts. It also reflects Blues Aperitiv and Echo Blues Alive. With the help of a survey it explores the structure of an audience and its opinion about the festival. It situates the festival to the popular festival scene and defines its significance for the development of popular music.
