Cílem této bakalářské práce je zmapovat historii organizace Euro-Children a poukázat na její význam pro děti a jejich rodiny. Tento význam není pouze v rámci prázdnin, poněvadž vytvořené přátelství mezi hostitelskými rodinami a jim svěřenými dětmi trvá v mnohých případech mnohem déle. Organizace poskytuje dětem výbornou příležitost, ke které by se jinak děti neměly možnost dostat. Euro-Children pomáhá vytvářet nové vztahy mezi jednotlivými evropskými státy. Dále se zabývám vedením organizace, výběrem dětí a jejich budoucích hostitelských rodin a jinými organizačními aktivitami, které jsou spojeny s chodem organizace Euro-Children.The aim of this thesis is to explore the history of Euro-Children and highlight its importance for children and their families. This importance is not only during the holidays, because friendship formed between host families and children takes in many cases much longer. The organization provides to the children which would not otherwise be able to travel abroad an excellent opportunity. Euro-Children helps create new relations between European states. I also deal with the leadership of the organization, selection of children and their prospective host families and other organizational activities that are associated with running the organization Euro-Children.
