Práce je součástí širšího výzkumného záměru Katedry psychologie FF UP v Olomouci. Mapuje specifika vztahu matky a dcery z pohledu dcer ve věku mladé dospělosti. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část obsahuje tři kapitoly, které se věnují mateřství, mladé dospělosti a vztahu matky a dcery. Ve výzkumné části jsou tři výzkumné otázky týkající se charakteristiky vztahu, negativních a pozitivních aspektů vztahu. Soubor tvořilo 14 dcer ve věku mladé dospělosti (20 až 33 let) a byl vybrán záměrným výběrem. Metodou sběru dat bylo polostrukturované interview, metodou analýzy dat byla kvalitativní obsahová analýza. Výsledky jsou rozděleny do tří oblastí vycházejících z výzkumných otázek. V práci jsou dosažené výsledky srovnány s informacemi z odborné literatury v teoretické části práce, analýza přináší také nová výzkumná zjištění. Ve vztahu byla definována témata, které představují teoretické závěry o vztahu matky a dcery. Poznatky z práce mohou sloužit jako podklad pro budoucí magisterskou práci, další výzkumy a v poradenské psychologické praxi.The thesis is the part of broader research project of Department of Psychology, Philosophical Faculty of Palacky University in Olomouc. It explores the specifics of mother and daughter relationship from the daughter´s perspective at the age of young adulthood. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part includes three chapters dealing with motherhood, young adulthood period and the relationship of mother and daughter. The practical part examines three experimental issues concerning the characteristic of this relationship and its negative and positive aspects. The respondents were daughters at the age of young adulthood (20 to 33 years) who were chosen by deliberate choice. The selected method of data collection was semistructured interview, the method of data analysis was qualitative content analysis. The results are divided into three areas according to research questions. The achieved results of research are compared with the information in professional literature in theoretical part, the analysis brings also new contributions. In terms of relationship were defined important issues which constitutes of theoretical conclusions concerning the relationship of mater and daughter. Acquired knowledge can serve as a basis for future diploma thesis or another researchs in advisory psychological practice.
