Diplomová práce, nesoucí název Berlín ve vybraných prózách německých autorů 2. poloviny 20. století, se zabývá literárním obrazem německého hlavního města ve dvou vybraných textech, tj. v povídkách Emine Sevgi Özdamar Mutterzunge a Großvaterzunge a v románu Thomase Brussiga Am kürzeren Ende der Sonnenallee. Práce se skládá ze čtyř tematických celků. V první části se nachází stručný přehled německých dějin 2. poloviny 20. století, druhý celek obsahuje definici tzv. berlínské prózy, ve třetí kapitole se nachází tematický rozbor děl, který je ve čtvrté části doplněn o analýzu narativních komponentů textů.The thesis, named Berlin in the chosen prose of German authors in the 2nd half of the 20th century, deals with the reflection of the German's capital in the literature. The thesis is focused on two chosen books, i.e. on the short stories Mutterzunge and Großvaterzunge by Emine Sevgi Özdamar and on the novel Am kürzeren Ende der Sonnenallee by Thomas Brussig. It is divided into four parts. The first chapter contains a brief summary of the German history in the 2nd half of the 20th century, in the second unit there is a definition of the Berlin prose, the analysis of the literary texts follows in the third part and the fourth chapter deals with the narrative analysis.
